E--表示writers知道并明白manager是如何使用intuition，但是并没有acknowledge

可是passage的意思不是这样，文章内的意思应该是writers当时并不清楚地明白intuition

文中说writers have recognized(=acknowledge) that ... however, a poor grasp(=misunderstand) of what institution is.
所以E说not acknowledge是错的。D对。
