let's compare with "when" and "which"

when is used to modify the whole sentence（to be more accurate, modify the verb）, and to tell us something about the action which takes place in main clause.

which is used to modify the noun.please look at 2 sentence below:

Kevin left Dream Theather when Dream Theater produced the band's 4th album-A change of Seasons

Kevin left Dream Theather in 1994 at which Dream Theater produced the band's 4th album-A change of Seasons.

For the second question,

" provided with high-energy feed, and milked regularly" two ed-form verb is used to modify the Holstein cows ."Holstein cows  are provided ....and milked...." Clearly, the passive form must be used instead of ing-form. This is a question to test the usage of "modifier"

In addition, the sentence can be rewritten as:"For the farmer who takes care to keep them cool, to provide them with high-energy feed, and to milk them regularly....." This rewritten sentence is used to test people's understandings of paralleled structure.

I am not good at grammar ...I am not 100% sure...sorry...

放眼望去,所有选项的主语都是牛,所以只能用被动咯,否则不可能它们自己喂自己吧

一开始我也以为中间两句是做修饰，后来800bob的平行的解释让我豁然开朗

第二题: 为什么不选D？ 从句用的一般现在时，主句中也有each per year.
