做善事的人大脑释放什么，似的他们感觉很好，然后就长寿，然后就认为释放的这种东西会让人长寿，而且一个统计也表明经常参加义务劳动的人们也比平均寿命要长。作者说，就算参加义务劳动的人没有延长寿命我们也可以预计到相同的调查结果，因为：因为参加的都是女性，女性的寿命本来就比平均寿命要长。
