Dear Friends, Thanks a lot for posting so much useful info. I would like some advice from you. First a brief profile: GMAT: 650 TOEFL: exempt (MA in UK) BA in English in China, MA in social policy in University of York in UK. W/E: one year sales representative in a fty in China (Then I moved to Greece) 2 years experience as BUYER in a well-known Greek supermarket in Athens I am aware that my GMAT score on verbal is too low. It took me sometime to decide whether to proceed now or re-take the exam and apply next year. Finally I decide to proceed and give it a try. Does GMAT really matter so much? I can demonstrate my English level from other aspects. I'm clear about my career goal--retail industry. I would like to gain management knowledge other than purchasing. However, I have difficulty to find info. on schools that are strong in retail domain. I know Wharton's strength on Supply chain Management, but I can't find info. about whether wharton is strong in the retail field. Or I'm mistaken, the retail management is within all general management courses?? Thanks very much! |
