Rotman, Ivey or Schulich

我得首选一定是Rotman(但是还没给我offer), 但是后面两个, 我真的不知道怎么选.



Ivey VS Schulich ???


名望: 在加国内, Ivey是老牌的,还是最好的


排名: Ivey下降, Schulich上升


地点: 伦敦--多伦多


学费: Ivey 6万, Schulich 4万


贷款: Ivey无条件无息贷款, Schulich第一年贷不了


就业: Ivey 60%, Schulich 80%, 但是据说Ivey的工作层次高一些


到底要怎么选, 很茫然

If you wanna experience more challenging study, especially improve your communication and oral English skills, Ivey is undoubtedly better.     Yes, Schulich does have an advantage of location, in Toronto, but the revenue of its graduate students is pretty poor. For me, I prefer Ivey. In my mind, the most important things for Chinese students to hunt jobs are : 1. English communication skill. 2. Working Experience in NA. If W/E is same, why not choose a school to add more value to your future's job hunting?


Ivey's reputation and quality are obviously better than Schulich, whether in NA or in the world. University of Western Ontario itself is famous for its business and management in North America.


By the way, the living expense in London    is far lower than that in Toronto. UWO is also quiet and beautiful. Compared with UWO, York is worse, especially its location, North York Area in Metropolitan Toronton, I don't like it.


Still, Schulich does have its unique characters and advantages. After all, its tuition is $20000 cnd lower than Ivey's.

还没有拿到offer, 不过来了一个message, 如果我没理解错, 应该是表示Ivey MBA adcom已经通过, 并将档案转至UWO研究生部作最后评估. 我想应该是一个好的兆头吧. 希望下周会有消息.

终于收到Ivey的正式通知了，漫长的等待！开始担心我那暴差的口语和更差的写作，怎样才能通过Ivey 的tough课程。。。。。


可是还是不知道到底选哪个？Ivey or Schulich？还有别人可以给我一些意见吗？（另，我希望specialization是Finance）

有一朋友放弃了Ivey去了U of Alberta，因为觉得Ivey的cost太高
