求助关于标准差的一类题！

先给了一组数：7.51，8.22，7.86，8.36，8.09，7.83，8.30，8.01，7.73，8.25，7.96，8.53

然后问：If the 1000 recorded amounts have a mean of 8.1 ounces and a standard deviation of 0.3 ounce, how many 0f the 12 listed amounts are within 1.5 standard deviations of the mean ?

答案是11

碰到过好几道类似的了，都是这种问法，到底什么叫 within 1.5 standard deviations of the mean 呢？

真的很疑惑，请帮忙！

在平均值的1.5个标准差范围之内。也就是8.1 +/- 1.5*0.3
