Let me be honest here: you don't really want a top MBA, you just want something to make yourself feel better. Your entire post has "I feel sorry for myself" written all over it. Sure, you missed Tsinghua by 2 points, but that's not a reason to give up on yourself. And from everything you said, it seems like you just simply gave up. Successful people take what they have and try their best to get what they want. Even then, there's always something that you want but can't get. You seem to think that had you gotten into your first choice, your whole life would be different right now. Don't forget that even people at at Tsinghua or Peking U feel disappointments too. Lots of them try to get jobs at GS/MS or M/B/C but can't get. Lots of them will apply to a top 10 MBA but will get rejected. The point is, do you let failures define your life, or do you let them grow into opportunities? You should really think about it before you apply.
