Don't think that way. Normally the first application is not the best one. And sometimes the one you think with biggest possibility is actually with least opportunity, but the one you think hopeless may be the one you will get.

Comfort and be patient to wait for your good news!

take it easy, shuishuile mm. sometimes things do happen not towards your thinking. Just relax and wait, maybe some schools that you don't count much on will accept you.

别难过,虽然你选得其他学校得排名还高,可是其他学校选中你得可能性也相当大,你绝对不能用排名来衡量你能否被录取.我刚刚查邮件,发现被owen据了.其实这个学校排名是我申请得所有学校中最后得,也是垫低得.而且,因为这个学校学费比较贵,所以我故意选了它,因为考虑可能其他中国学生觉得排名比较后,而且学费贵,所以不会选它,那么竞争就不会那么激烈.可是没想到还是被拒绝了.所以,别着急,offer马上就来了!!!

Maryland是2nd tier 中最难进的学校, 难度其实和top20差不多. 奖学金那么丰厚, 哪里逃得过众牛人的眼睛.
