第2个题目，读题，我想到了一个很蠢的原则，记得n年前高中老师说过两个逗号可以把逗号和当中的东西都拿掉，我一直偷偷在用，基本没有发现重大失误。

    

所以我拿掉了，然后看前面主谓宾然后看选项

    

原则1：and出现看并列，D明显错误

    

原则2：忠实原文意思，E明显错误，自己乱比较

    

B直接跟在宾语portfolios后面（我已经把插入语拿掉了）不是个句子

    

再比较A和C，C是个过去分词，逻辑意思确实是有分词做后置定语的嫌疑。A intention，想到一个原则：动词优于名词，只有当强调结果的时候用名词才比较好。所以选C

这种词好恶心啊，OG上我记得也有，什么sunspots 我也不知道是不是长这样，还有糖尿病，我忘了怎么拼了，反正都是s结尾的单数名词，不过感觉GMAC还是比较人性化，通常都会有提示，到底是单还是复，不然这个题目简直耍流氓。谁知道这么多专用词啊。

让我困惑的是prep里太多with的选项 我现在体会到 如果是with放在句首 那么with的逻辑主语要和主句主语有正当联系 例如prep里的那个deer population题 前面是with...without...都是说hunting rules什么的 后面就不能选scientists做主语的选项  虽然with...without的内容和deer population不直接挂钩 但是简介联系 我在新prep中也有看到 忘记是哪一题了 但是with放在句末做独立主格还没有体会到GMAT想要考生怎样拿捏这个考点 出现n多次了

GMAT当中常出现的独立主格结构只有一种，即with复合结构。它的构成是：“with ＋
        宾语
        ＋
        宾语补足语”。宾语由代词、名词、名词词组充当，宾补由分词、不定式、形容词、副词、介词短语、名词等充当。

E.g.: He used to sleep, with the door open. 他过去常开着门睡觉。（形容词）

E.g.: With a boy leading the way，they started towards the village. （现在分词）

E.g.: With the work done，he went home. （过去分词）

E.g.: With you to help us，we will finish the task in time. （不定式）

E.g.: Hong Kong looks more beautiful with thou-sands of lights on at night. （副词）

从以上例句可以看出：在with复合结构中，宾语和宾补之间形成逻辑上的主谓关系。当这种主谓关系表现为主动语态时，用现在分词；当这种主谓关系表现为被动语态时，用过去分词；当这种主谓关系表示将来意义时，用不定式；当这种主谓关系表示伴随意义时，用现在分词或副词。

这个题目上来先排除ABC，因为名词后面用that表达完整意思比of结构好。然后E中

is 和differences矛盾，所以应该选D。做完之后当时我看了解释，不过没有看懂，D我不知道它是怎样的一个同位语从句尤其是后面一个that。我是因为看到E感觉这个选项比较残疾，所以才选了D，但是D我没有看懂。
