我觉得and大概是这样的...
Sales of wines declined in the late 1980s, but they began to grow again after the 1991 report that linked [moderate consumption of alcohol, and particularly (moderate consumption) of red wine], with a reduced risk of heart disease.

小括号里面的红字是省略的内容。

中括号里面的and连接前后两个consumption,共同作为link A with B中的A

这样理解是否可以呢？请指教~~

我不明白的是，副词不是只能修饰副词、形容词、动词吗？？
那这样的话这里的paticularly不就是修饰了名词吗？？？

particularly of red wine 应该算是程度副词修饰名词，虽然这个用法现在还有争议，但某些权威机构还是认可这个用法的。。
所以在其他选项错的离谱的情况下，这个算是effectiveness的错误就可以忽略了。。

同意，有了and有强调的感觉在里面，他们写了一个报告，有重大篇幅是写在red wine的；如果没有and，就不会给我这个感觉，而只会让我觉得他们只是顺笔带过。

第二遍看解释时才醒悟还是要从句意入手啊
这篇report是一篇关于linked moderate consumption of alcohol with reduced risk of heart disease.的报道
link...with...这个结构根据逻辑意思应该将疾病降低的风险和适度饮酒相联系的，而particularly of red wine是对前面moderate consumption of alcohol的补充，应该是插入语成分，同时of red wine 是consumption of red wine的省略
解释为：适度的饮酒，尤其是红酒的饮用，和心脏疾病风险的降低相关。
