kellogg's finance phd program is a big one and they will generally send 8-10 offers to fill 4-5 opens. So the number of interviews may be 15-20.

those 8-10 ppl are also very likely to get offers from U Chicago, Standford, MIT..so NW just wish to get them all....

some top ten schools even recruit 10 or 11 people last year, of course not Kellogg
