I do not get interview invitation, so what    does the only Waitlist mean? I think it may mean that I need to wait for an interview invitation.     So, hopeless, right?

No, far from hopeless yet. 我记得darden的waitlist会给你分级别并且给你反馈信息.


你可以先写信给adcom, 强调你是如何fit这个学校, 你非常想知道他们对你的建议, 并且你希望通过面试能使他们更全面的了解你. 总之, 如果darden是你想去的学校, 你还有很多很多事可以做.

I would not worry too much about it. Usually applicants will initiate interviews with Darden, so    If you    have    not done so, Darden will sometimes make a decision upon the info they have. I    know a couple of people    who were in    WL all got in after interviews. Yes, I agree with what SmaileFF said -    write to them and ask for an interview.     You should be fine. Good luck!

I agree with Leehanb and SmileFM. Interview is definitely important for international students. By now i have not met anyone who was admitted by Darden without an interview.


At this moment of time, you had better do something to get the chance for interview. As far as I know, almost every year in early March, Darden admission director will go to China    as a trip    to interview with appliants. You should not miss this chance if you want to get admitted    to    Darden.

Thanks all.     I will try to ask for an interview anyway.     Actually, I did send email to the admission committee before, but there is no response.

有Round 3 申请得到interview的嘛？我是Round 3还过了两天才交的。


刚看了这个帖子，跑去看我的status，第一句是“We have completed processing your application..."，差点儿晕倒，完了啥动静都没有！惨！再一看，说是送Admit com了。真有点儿是杯弓蛇影，草木皆兵了！

to laobao: I will have the interview in early March in Shanghai.So I guess they will be in mainland around those days.

I just heard that for some reason, the adcom staffs will not be able to show up in China this    March    (they will fly to Europe this March). All the interviews will be conducted by Darden alumni in China.


It will be better if you can contact Darden Adcom and arrange an alumni interview. Plus, I guess the best way to reach them is by phone instead of email, they probably get tons of emails everyday.
