It depends.

Just an MSF degree earned in HKU is far from enough. Besides a master degree granted by a prestigious univ, U hv to possess relating internship experience in securities industries, and a suitable personality. So, it is difficult for real to make judgment merely based on the diploma you hold.

I was ever fortunate to hv a dinner with general manager of China AMC ** Branch, and he told me in China AMC, there are quite a number of MBAs or masters from HBS or univ. of the same level, let alone the champions of National College Entrance Examination.

And one of my friends had tried to seek an internship position in CICC BJ Head office through "guanxi", but failed. The reply is simple, i.e., only masters from PKU and TSU are target candidates.

Compared to other candidates, what's your unique strength?

"两年四大工作经验". Could u plz tell us on a detaided basis?

In which service line? If u worked on financial advisory, sure it suits most. And auditing takes second place, while tax consultation last. 

What kind of rating hv u earned in the semi-annual or annual performance review in Big 4 firms? Hv u obtained CICPA qualification that is a big plus without doubt? BTW, CFA is not so helpful as we may think when applying to domestic securities companies (said by head of China AMC ** Branch, not me).

"hku的msf program"--How much is your GPA? It's also a critical factor taken into consideration by the HR.

To be positive, u r quite excellent, and stand a big chance absolutely. But it is hard to anticipate the final result, for sometimes what we need is just luck. So, best luck!!!
