这道题笔记上说到两个时态的问题，我都有疑惑，请教大家：

1） over +数字 + years，用过去完成时态（应该是现在完成时？）。

 

over the years 的意思是“这么多年来”“经过这么多年之后”，它指的是一种从几年前持续到现在的一种情况，因此通常与现在完成时连用。如：
         
My tastes have changed greatly over the years. 几年来我的爱好有了很大改变。
         
Life was difficult then but things have got better and better over the years. 那时生活很艰苦，但情况已一年比一年好了。
         
Women’s social status hasn’t changed much over the years. 这些年来妇女的社会地位没有多大改变。
        

2）in the previous thirty years应该用一般过去时态（？）

 

                   关于这一点找了很多反例，也没有太确凿的证据来判断：
           

                   用在过去完成时
                   He had visited America twenty times in the previous thirty years.在那之前的三十年
                                

里他已经访问美国二十次。  

                 

                 用在现在完成时
           

                There is a general discussion today about the issue of the divorce rate. As can be seen from the chart, great changes have been taking place. Obviously, China has experienced a dramatic increase in the divorce rate in the previous thirty years.

               

               究竟in the previous thirty years用在什么时态才对呢？请教。

1、in the previous thirty years一定要用过去时的说法是不正确的。
2、over和in，Over更将时间限定在延续到现在，in的话可能是过去某个时候发生的事情，所以相比来讲虽然都没有问题，但是还是over the last更加好。
3、last和previous的区别在于：last是截止到author说这句话的前一年，previous则是截止到该"调查"前一年。未划线部分用了last，根据前后一致的原则，我们也应该用last，否则很可能会在previous/last的措辞上不一致而造成语言漏洞。
