(D)结论说"use",与"phrchase"无关

(E)结论说"use",与"是否是active participants "无关

B如果夸大运动频率的话，那equipment使用的应该更少，而不是更多，显然不doubt

C正解

D买了其他运动鞋也属于运动设备中啊

E明显不对啊～但说不出来原因，呵呵

B说，夸大了sports equipment的使用，也就是说，实际使用比调查的还要少。那么就是支持了原文所说的american people do not get enough use of the sports equipment they purchased.并没有doubt/weaken原文观点而是strenthen.
