OG11上面的这道题目，我的脑浆都想出来了还是没搞懂为什么选择D。请各位大虾帮忙！！

A researcher discovered that people who have low levels of immune-system activity tend to score much lower on tests of mental health than do people with normal or high immune-system activity. The researcher concluded from this experiment that the immune-system protects against memtal illness as well as against physical disease.

The researcher's conclusion depends on which of the following assumptions?

我第一次选择A，第二次选择B。。。但是无法理解为什么D才是正确答案，望赐教！！Thanks in advance!

题目的结论是 免疫系统可以在保护身体的同时保护精神健康。也就是 免疫系统 可以 影响 精神状况。

A 取反，更好的免疫系统不比一般的免疫系统 在保护 精神健康 上 出色。
这并不否定题目的结论。题目只要求得出结论，“免疫系统可以保护 精神健康 就可以了”。并不要求一个正相关，“更好的系统可以更好的保护”

B 和题目的结论无关。你还是可以用取反验证。

D 的意思是说，不是免疫体统 影响 精神状况，而是精神状况影响免疫系统。
D取反，就是说 是精神疾病导致免疫系统差的，这就与题目结论的相反。因果颠倒。

                  What assumption does the researcher make? The researcher asserts that immune-system activity can inhibit mental illness as it does physical illness. While it is possible that mental i11ness might itself depress immune-system activity, the researcher assumes that this is not the case. If mental illness caused a decline in immune-system activity, then lower levels of immune-system activity would be expected as a result, and the higher levels would merely indicate the absence of illness rather than any effect on illness.
