请教：学校组织的 student chat 是什么目的？

主要是在校学生介绍学校，还是学习，生活的Q&A？会涉及admission的问题吗？就算有，回答也会很official吧？

大家觉得有必要去吗？

I would highly recommend it.  You should feel free to ask anything and they will likely give you a candid answer but from their own perspective.  The consistency definitely varies but the admissions office doesn't usually prep the students for the events.
