1,e is better than c,cos we know from the passage  that what is  not certain is the response and c gives us a definite response


2,if you read carefully you will understand that  c  just explains the last sentence.

MM是不是考前太紧张了？这两条题目都是OG上的呀。别紧张。

第一条答案应该E。 提干说明：The response of highly automated systems controlled by complex computer programs to unexpected circumstances is unpredictable.  

问题中的 a highly automated nuclear-missile defense system controlled by a complex computer program， 应该属于上面说的那种高度自动的系统。所以假如设计人员没有预测好的话，该系统的反应就是未知的。

第二题，问解释。

因为从常理来讲，工厂考虑更多应该是利益，而不是national secury， 现在这个工厂居然比国防部更先提出安全概念。 C提出一个解释：工厂在用其它理由要求保护时遭到的困难。应该是比较合理的一个解释。

事实上我觉的A B D E 都是无关。
