Why not call the admissions officers at Emory for the answer? Usually, they are very nice. BTW, Emory is a pretty good school, which means that it is worthy trying
The director of Emory should be in Beijing hotel today. She will give interviews tomorrow. So, you can call hotel to find her phone number and ask her question. If you are in Beijing, you can go to visit her today, which is a good way to show your respect to Emory. She might give you a special chance because of your fluent oral English
thanks, lewis and jeff2003. I did call her, but she answer thar she is not in charge of admission affairs and can not give me a definite reply. moreover, problems such as I met here should be decided by senior officer of admission office, who is off work on weekend. So nobody can help. I decide to give up, what a pity!!!
my advice is : go with the toefl score you got. you may look throught the ask sandy post on BW forum, one key insight is: school usually said no to many things; but once you did it, the actual result turns out is OK.
To b-schools, t is not as important as g - they use t as a reference. If you have a decent score in G, i think you will be fine.
