可是我记得高中英语里就讲过:  如果主语是由“a series of, a kind of, a portion of+等+名词”构成时，动词一般用单数形式。

a series of 后面是要用动词，没错的。我们在讨论的是of后面的名词要不要加s。

JJ2：metal (单数) does not so much reflect the light as recieve and send it back ...  这道题我不记得选项是不是这个了，但是肯定要选not so much 一个动词 as 一个动词，not so much...as...这个结构prep中有一道题有，意思是与其说...不如说...。两个动词要并列，找到并列的那个选项就好了

 

ＮＯＴ　ＳＯ　ＭＵＣＨ．．．．．一定做与其解释？后面词的单复数．．还值得重视么？望ＮＮ指点．．

不是说not so much做与其解释，而是not so much...as...这个词组做与其。。不如。。

这个词组前后要平行，就像both and，either or这种词组一样，前后是要平行的。而且这道题前面有了does，后面要用原型。

32. 还有一个考 AS RECENT AS 。。。 YEARS AGO，。。。。。  OR AS RECENTLY AS 。。。。。

昏，这个语法点是要考的什么啊

as recent as 还是as recently as 要根据修饰的成份看吧

longman 例句:
1\old woman with hair as white as snow 

2\Some of the doctors are paid almost twice as much as the nurses. 

3\We work as hard as any other team in England.

white adj. 修饰hair n.

much  adv. 修饰paid v.

hard  adv. 修饰work v.

但是不知道as recent as or as recently as 是不是习语之类的...那就可能不适用了.

一看being 就不爽呀  就选B了   可貌似base
from 不对   困惑

I vote for C 

A：用one's being + adj. 觉得不如C的that + 从句顺眼。虽然讲不上理由，但是强烈觉得A错。

B: base from 应该没有这样的用法。

D：改变原意。 mostly on... than on...彻底改变了原来的比较和逻辑意思的比较对象

E：more 修饰base，原文无意比较你base什么。

8. 有道题具体不记得了，反正经过简单排除后两项是y in 和 difficulty of

    

选difficulty in isolating..., not of those...的一个，好像是B

    

JJ2：有碰到difficulty of 和difficulty in那道，前人JJ说选B（difficulty in），可我选的是of，查了下，有这种用法，最关键的是of这个选项后面平行并列的好

    

JJ3：另有一位750的NN选了difficulty
of

查了longman：

1、difficulty in doing sth：if you have difficulty doing something, it is difficult for you to do

例句：They had great difficulty in finding a replacement.

2、the difficulty of (doing) something：the quality of being difficult to do

例句：the difficulty of solving such problems

所以可不可以这样说：difficulty 和in连用，表示“困难”，和of 连用，表示“难度”

呵呵，谁记得原题啊。。。不知道能不能这样区分出来答案。
