Editorial in Golbindian Newspaper: For almost three months, opposition parties

have been mounting daily street demonstrations in the capital in an effort to

参考答案选C. 但是我觉得C不能complete上面讨论的问题。原文最主要讲的是attendance的下降不代表popular support for the opposistion's demands is dropping。C说的是媒体停止报道示威的事情，所以首都以外的人不知道示威还在继续。但是，那些不知到示威在继续的人又不代表是支持示威的人，其实也有可能这帮人就算看了报道，知道有示威也不一定会支持啊。这样C能是答案吗？其实，之前有人开过贴讨论，但是问题好像还没有解决... 那位能帮忙解答一下？谢谢！

我觉得是这样子的
它的argument是说support drops -> attendance declines 
然后结论讲说这样的推理是不对的 给出他因 说attendance declines是因为ppl thought the demonstrations has already ended
