謝謝 CD﹗謝謝大家!!! o'.'onow, some quick update on my test experience: 沒有看到much/any JJ (我並沒有花很多時間溫習JJ)... so I am not gonna say much about that... I don't think it'd help you anyway... 真正能幫助你的是 to have the right mind set... 就像宮本武藏一樣﹐ 要隨破足流(字寫得不對﹐不過你們應該看得懂)。 much/any JJ (我並沒有花很多時間溫習JJ)... so I am not gonna say much about that... I don't think it'd help you anyway... 真正能幫助你的是 to have the right mind set... 就像宮本武藏一樣﹐ 要隨破足流(字寫得不對﹐不過你們應該看得懂)。AWA is what it is... Never seen those topics before.. but they aren;t hard. what bothered me the most was this guy who sat next to me ... he was annoying as hell... he was breathing like he's doing a 5000meter run... I wanted to shut him the f up, but the test center ladies took care of him and they gave me headphones... still... that dude... was annoying!!! imagine you were taking the test with me and I'm getting on and off my chair every 3 minutes because it relaxes me..? what would you say/do about that huh? exactly. Math was fun... easy stuff... didn't see any truly super hard ones... i usually finish the math section with 15-20 minutes to spare... I didn't do that on test day... used all my time... make sure you are confident with your answers and just move on. 就像宮本武藏對吉岡一樣.. verbal was the test... . i mean for a lot of people, the test begins after AWA and math. There were only 2 seconds during the whole 4 hours where I went "oh... this is a test... i gotto get back into this and take this seriously"... and those 2 seconds manifested during the verbal section... now, some background... ABC, from NYC. Studied chinese in taiwan for 4 years, taught at this SAT academy school and was able to break 750 on the math SAT in 23 minutes (that's finishing the entire math section within than 1/3 of the time given), mathematical economics major from cornell. I do revenue management analysis for work (a lot of stats analysis). I took the test 3 times... and although I've scored above 90% on my First practice exams (92% for Kaplan-my first first practice exam, 92% for first manhattangmat, 700 on my first power prep, etc).. I didn't break 700 on my first two real tests... On my first test, I cared too much. when you care too much, 會看不見。so... the trick is.. don't care too much. On my second test, I was careless because I overestimated myself, since I usually do very well on my practice exams (range from 670-750), and I learned caring too much doesn't help. when I was done with question 19 on the math, I had 20 minutes to play around with, going at that rate, I'd have had 40 minutes to spare when I finish the math section, so I slowed down... played around.. and at the very end... I ran out of time and had to guess on the last math question... interestingly funny huh? On my third test, I didn't think about doing well or bad... I just made love to the test... and it was good. 要隨破足流 the trick is to relax and have fun with the test... although I'd spent many months "studying" every now and then (隨便看一看)... the last three days before the exam counted the most... I was in the zone... loving the GMAT... the trick... is to love the GMAT. anonymous |
