If they want you, usually as short as 3-5 days.

感谢前辈对我的鼓励。再请教一个问题：今年的R1 deadline是11月1日，这个时间是否包含提交推荐信呢？Goizueta好像是申请者提交essay以后才发邮件给推荐人，推荐人才能给写推荐信的，这样的话会不会过了deadline？

emory 录取实际上是round based, 那个deadline就起个安排面试批次的作用，如果赶不上face to face，估计就是电面了。

我去年就是12月15deadline交的essay, 我的推荐人在18号左右交的推荐信。只要你前后几天交估计都能赶上这轮的interview, 当然了，我的建议是，只要材料弄好了，赶早不赶晚。

一个胖乎乎的白人中年妇女，一直以来主管国际学生工作。对人很nice,  让人觉得和她谈话很轻松。不要有太大压力，好好展示自己就好。

Thank you Denghuo JJ.  I haven't got the interview invitation yet. What a shame! I will take your advise and call the adcom next Monday~~

Given your situation, my suggestion is to email program office. And I'm pretty sure that there is somebody taking care of the "info" email.
