UT-Austin的MPA托福口语要求怎么这样高啊！

这是我在他家网站上看到的要求：

TOEFL (for non-native English speakers): Applicants whose native language is not English must take the internet based version of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and have their scores submitted directly from ETS to UT Austin. The minimum score for admission to The University is 79 on the internet-based TOEFL. However, the MPA program prefers a minimum score of 105 overall and a minimum of 24 on each individual section (reading, listening, speaking, writing). Applicants will receive a waiver of the TOEFL if they have earned an undergraduate degree in an English-speaking country. Please see GIAC's website for more information. IELTS (International English Language Testing System) scores may be submitted in lieu of the TOEFL. The MPA program prefers a minimum IELTS band score of 7.5. TOEFL and IELTS scores over two years old will not be accepted.

这样说来偶19岂不是肯定没有获得AD的机会了？

是这样的，我口语差一分，e-mail去问小米，回答是

Although we will still consider the applicants whose TOEFL is below the requirement, we strongly recommend you to retake TOEFL. Because speaking is quite crucial for business students.

……现在T根本报不上考位阿……

在申请之前不想再考了，能不能如果申上了再去考？

要不就放弃吧……申请费也不便宜吧……折腾下来也就相当于1000多块钱买张彩票……

去年一学姐USC,ND,Umich都要了，UTA还把她拒了……

Why not try IELTS? overall band 7.5 might be easier than 24 in iBT SPEAKING...
