Full-service offices in New York, Jersey City, London, Singapore & Tokyo enhance the firm’s capabilities to manage fixed income portfolios for investors around the globe. Currently, we have an excellent career opportunity for a Reconciliation Analyst in our Jersey City office. The Reconciliation Analyst is responsible for the daily reconciliation, analysis, and resolution of all differences arising on some 200 global fixed income portfolios.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Obtain daily reporting from 25+ client custodian banks, trustees, and prime brokers.
• Utilizing an electronic system, reconcile and analyze FFTW investment accounting data with the bank reporting.
• Produce manual reconciliations using excel for banks without electronic reporting capabilities.
• Research and resolve all discrepancies arising from the reconciliations.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with 25+ global custodian banks and prime-brokers.

• Highly numerate and detail-oriented. Must be comfortable with mathematical concepts and calculations.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Works well under pressure. Candidate will be strong team player, self-motivated, and industrious.
• Flexible but effective time manager who is able to prioritize responsibilities so that all deadlines are met.
• Consummate professional who is proactive, shows initiative, and is able to work unsupervised when necessary.
• An individual of unquestionable integrity who would be an excellent representative of the firm on both a personal and professional basis.
Academic Background and Experience:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Excellent academic credentials including a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
• Related financial services internship(s)/work experience a strong plus.
• Strong computer skills.
