Qibin (Kevin) Cai： Ph.D. in Operations Research from Southern Methodist University in 2006. Before his Ph.D., Kevin was the business assistant to the CEO of Shanghai Wanxiang Investment. After his Ph.D, he was a software engineer at Verizon for two years. He is a CFA Level II candidate （本科背景不详，根据其当万向投资CEO助理可知为内地出身）
Deng (Dan) Huang： Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science from Tsinghua University， Ph.D. in Operations Research with a minor in Microeconomics from Ohio State University， post-doctoral fellow at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, an adjunct professor at the Washington State University, and a research scientist at the Scientific Forming Technologies Corporation. He has seven years of experience in software development with a specialty in mathematical programming and numerical analysis. He has also published several journal papers on efficient global optimization under uncertainties and design of computer experiments。
Jing Ma： became an entrepreneur at the age of 18 when she founded Thunderbird Courier Service in downtown Beijing. After growing the company to 28 employees and acquiring over 100 clients, including Motorola, Johnson and Johnson, Air China, and Roche, she sold the company and moved to the U.S. to enroll at U.C. Berkeley. Upon graduating from Berkeley with a degree in Mathematics, she was hired by MSCI Barra Inc. as a Risk Model Analyst. Jing has performed risk analysis for Barra's China Risk Model on a daily basis for more than two years. She also helped update Barra's Global Equity Risk Model on a monthly basis. （此例小妞稍显传奇，不具有可比性）
Chenhang Sun： BS in physics from Tsinghua University, Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington in Seattle, worked for four years as a Senior Scientist at SiPix Imaging, Inc, where he contributed to the development of a revolutionary display technology for "electronic paper" applications. Chenhang applied statistical methodologies extensively in system integration and reliability testing, and carried out simulations to optimize the display structure.
Chuan Wang: undergraduate study was in Physics at the University of Science and Technology of China. MS degree in computer science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a MS degree in Material Science from the University of Rochester, Prior to joining the MFE program, he had been in the mortgage business for six years. Before that he worked as a software engineer in several technology companies and Internet start-ups in Silicon Valley.
Danni Wang: MA in Statistics and Ph.D. in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley in 2005 , for her work in the environmental control of buildings. Before joining the MFE program, Danni was a consultant at Nexant, specializing in building energy efficiency projects. Through developing simulation models for thermal systems, Danni has acquired strong quantitative and analytical skills. Danni has a keen interest in financial economics, especially equity/fixed income research and risk management.
Aiphi Pei Wang: （本科）studied medicine and (alter that) worked at Novartis in China, Ph.D. in Physiology at the University of Buffalo and also completed a Master's in Mathematics, She is a CFA level II candidate （中间介绍一堆用计算机模型研究神经系统,担任研究助理和助理讲师云云）
Zhaoyang Yang: graduated cum laude from Southeast University in China, with a BS degree in Applied Physics and a minor in Software Engineering. Ph.D. degree in Physics from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2007. published two papers in Physical Review Letters and several in Physical Review B, CFA level II candidate.
