前面所说的if these initiatives succeed....maintain significant production levels 才会成立，因为如果美国公司在美国没有competitive advantages的话，就算solar power generators在美国的需求很大，美国公司没准也会被欧洲公司打败

因为现在的市场很小，才想到提高市场份额。如果市场份额已经很大，大到饱和程度的产量加上出口的产量，当欧洲能自己生产以后，怎么样也不可能保证保持原来的产量啊？

文中前半段所说的重点是，因为欧洲本土公司的原因，美国的公司存在失去其目前主要市场的可能性，因此，后半段就很自然的连接到，要寻找一个新的市场，而美国公司失去欧洲市场的原因就是他能在美国找到新市场的原因。

文中只是说increasing the demand，这并不代表美国当前市场limited。

所谓increasing the demand，是为了弥补美国公司在欧洲丢失的市场份额，从而probably maintain significant production levels

看了前面几位解释，还是想不通阿。我觉得c和e都对

题目里面已经说了欧洲的很有竞争力，所以不管是否美国国内市场如何，欧洲的产品都有可能比美国的有竞争力，因此美国公司不一定就能拿到大的份额。

选C，说明了美国公司在本土有优势，这样就保证了大的市场份额

可是感觉E的意思也和前面有照应啊，increasing the demand在本国，所以可以结论的maintain，而E是保证了可以increase的条件，因为现在的市场还小，说明就有市场还可以increase，所以可以保证maintain，E确实是assumption了，但是C实在是想不通，没办法，我又不是NN
