簡介
網上托福考試是美國考試服務中心(ETS)提供的考試，香港考試及評核局受美國考試服務中心的委託在香港舉辦託福考試。
The
TOEFL iBT is delivered via the internet. It emphasizes integrated
skills and helps confirm you are ready to communicate your ideas about
what you will read and listen to in your academic courses. The test is
approximately four and one-half hours long and has four sections:
Reading – measures the ability to understand academic reading materials.
Listening – measures the ability to understand spoken English as it is used in colleges and
universities.
Speaking – measures the ability to speak English in an academic context.
Writing – measures the ability to write in a way that is appropriate for college and university course
work.

報名流程
以信用卡網上報名
透過美國考試服務中心網上報名系統（網址﹕www.ets.org/toefl.）報
名是最方便的報名方法，考試日期及考場位置已刊載於美國考試服務中心託福網站並不時更新，故此請於託福網上報名系統查閱最新的考試資料。首次使用託福網上
報名系統的考生，須先註冊成為用戶，並利用個人用戶號碼及密碼，登錄個人的區域進行報名。考生請於考試前登錄個人的區域並列印報名確認書。
以信用卡電話報名
考生亦可聯絡Prometric區域報名中心 (RRC) 以電話報名考試﹕
報名後，考生會獲派一個報名編號。請記下此報名編號並於考試當日帶備到考場。考生亦會同時得知考試日期﹑考場地址及報到時間。於致電區域報名中心報名前，請參閱網上托福考試資料及報名手冊內夾附的網上托福考試報名表格瞭解一般報名時需要提供的資料。
郵遞報名
考
生請將已填妥的網上托福考試報名表格郵寄到Prometric區域報名中心，網上托福考試報名表格已附夾於網上托福考試資料手冊及可於託福網站下載。請確
保填妥報名表格上所有資料，包括信用卡資料。報名表格必須於所選最早的考試日期前四星期交到Prometric區域報名中心。
2007-2008年度的網上托福考試資料手冊可於網上下載，網址是
