请问duke学习紧张忙？ 听说需要经常功课到晚上1，2点的样子。

因为身体的原因，不能学习工作太劳累。 所以想请教学习强度的方面的情况。谢谢

 A large % of students (22% for 06-07) go into consulting after graduation. http://www.fuqua.duke.edu/career/recruit/documents/2006-07employment-report.pdf You can see # of students for each company. Unless there is a significant slowdown in US economy, I don't expect this to change.

Like many other top business schools, there really isn’t a “typical” background that Duke looks for. In my class 05, we had a student that was 64 years old, in 04, a student didn't have any work experience. It’s important to highlight your uniqueness (can be something very small, but show you as an individual) and what you can bring to the school if you were to attend.  If you were to apply, it’s important to highlight in as specific terms as you can why Fuqua is a good fit for you from an academic, student body perspective and how a degree from there will help you achieve your goals.

Duke is a very team oriented program since most projects are done in groups, so being able to work collaboratively is critical. You should be able to demonstrate your team spirit in essays/interviews.

Duke also has the largest healthcare related program in the country. If you are interested in that area, definitely mention it.

Unfortunately 1-2am is not uncommon for any of the top schools. Time management is the key. At the beginning, you will be assigned to a team. You can tell your teammates the situation, ask them to be more efficient in team meetings, and be proactive in helping the team stay focused and finish early. It also depends on how bad you want that "A" in every class. Unless you want to do investment banking or Bain/McKinsey, good grades are nice but not critical. But then since you can't stay up 1-2am everyday, investment banking is not for you anyways. As long as you are prepared to work till really late once in a while, you are fine.

 Thanks for that!  May I conclude that a "special" teamwork story'd better be in essey ?  Of coz, based on true experiences.
