WHY C??I THINK B IS BETTER. IN MY POINT OF VIEW, THE SO CALLED "CHEMICAL" IN C IS IRRELEVANT.

题目的意思是要说明农民为什么不选择种植soybean, 而c正好说明了：因为这片地之前是准备用于种植玉米的，所以其中的某些化学物质会阻碍soybean的生长。

B中 农民预测的是financial loss， 并没直接说到底为什么不种soybean. 而C， 文中已经说了the field originally intended for corn----就是prepared for planting corn 的意思，所以 是 explaination..

C：soybean价格高，不种soybean作为过渡农产品是因为产量低。
B：financial loss与为什么不种soybean无相关性，另外some没有代表性。
