我认为，more than...应该是形容词短语，作为修饰语后置，此处，修饰20 percent of the world's fresh water，是不是说明形容词短语（或者说同位语）可以修饰相邻词的中心词？？

1. 同位语是否可以指代相邻词的中心词？

2. 形容词修饰语是否可以指代相邻词的中心词？

Prep1-33: D的主要错误是原句没有转折含义, 而且it 指代也不清.

Prep1-57: 请从句子的逻辑含义上来理解此题, 逻辑含义大于一切. of up to 600 rooms each只是插入语. each 在这里指每个engineered structure.
