hi hippo, i've never changed my job, so i am not clear with this matter. but i guess it won't loom on your application, keep in mind, one of the most important factors in the application is to convince them you are so confident to find a good job right after MBA study, so your change of job is probably a plus good luck!
Hi, Snazzy, I paste the beginning of my essay here, hopefully you can get some ideas.
4. Demonstrate your suitability for the McGill MBA program by outlining your career objectives and discussing how your previous experience (work, education and extracurricular) is relevant to your studies.
For a long time I have been considering my career path. My first goal is to work as a business development manager for a major technology company which leads a group of engineers like myself. And my outstretched goal is to eventually become my own entrepreneur. Being an engineer in a software company, my world has always been filled with logics and technologies. And to improve my skills in this area, I pursued and obtained a masters degree in computer science. It is at this point in time when I realized that technical skills are not the true basis of good management. It is also this time when I realize a company’s success is not the sole responsibility of its technological front. I came to realize that structure, method, management, leadership are all key to success in any institution. And I truly believe that the diversified concentrations of the McGill MBA program will reinforce me in these key areas.
As a person with traditions and virtues, I firmly believe that in order to be successful, one needs to have Integrity, Leadership and Perseverance.
Thanks, buddy. You are the best! I am speeding up on my way. My academic transcripts and one recommendation letter have been done. However, I still can't reach another previous boss in Switzerland. Hopefully, I can get it done in a week or two.
In my application, Stor, I met a problem: i am asked to fill out a form about courses as follows:
Courses in Progress or to be Taken Enter the courses you are currently enrolled in, or plan to take at your home university. You are required to enter courses which do not yet appear on your transcript.
Statistics or Research Methodology Courses Enter any courses you have taken in Statistics or Research methodology, if required by your proposed department (see application instructions).
I don't know what they are for. Can you give me some clue, please?
By the way, I only found some space in ADDITIONAL INFORMATION for personal statement, publishment, honor, etc. I heard that some schools need from 3 to 5 essays, for example: why do you choose this school? why do you want to pursue MBA at this time? describe ... Does McGill require these essays. if yes, where shall get the information or how can i send them out? or, probably just write in the STATEMENT. Thanks a lot, Stor.
There are two recommendation letters in the application form that need the boss and professor to fill in. My question is , are these two form the recommendation letter required in the application procedure, or we have to provide McGill with additional recommendation letters besides these recommendation forms? Thank you for your time to answer my question.

I did not find the personal statement sheet in the online application system.
There is no space in the online application system to fill in my two essays, only one question requires the study plan with limited words. How did you solve the problem if you applied on line.
