职业发展困惑(24岁,女生,4年工作经验,顶尖外企销售,28w年薪)

想清楚想从MBA得到什么,在自己计算一下成本.

至于你能否申请成功要看你自己做了怎样的努力。高GMAT可以补补GPA的问题,出众的Essay,还有推荐信都很重要。当然,面试时你的表现也很重要,口语,逻辑思维和表达。

收获自己想收获的才会感到开心~

其实, 如果LZ想在国内立足的话 我觉得香港的MBA好些吧...毕竟MBA有一部分是冲着人脉去的啊。米国的top10也是老外多也...

Well, I'm not that shocked by the numbers, including your age and experience.

Basically, if I were the adcom, I will view your profile as a distinguished IT sales.

You got a proven tracking record in doing your sales job, and performs better than others during the bull years, that's it and this is only it. What else? Nothing. If you really want to get into M7, you need more flesh and blood on your resume/ during your interview.

We know you are strong, and your way of describing your experience also proves that your are extremely confident about yourself. I won't say you really "need" a MBA degree to become successful but it is quite a good timing(big bear market now) for you to explore the world and explore yourself.

We have lots of sales who had successfully transferred to marketing role, which might be a role model for you to follow. ( less money but better work and life balance while you can still leverage your previous experience as a sales)

LS说得很好。

我的建议,LZ应该先想好的自己的职业目标,其实达到目标的路有很多条,A,B,C,D可以自己规划和选择,但是前提是你清楚自己要什么。

如果只为了做到marketing,你可以选择的途径有很多,内部transfer,换公司,和老板HR的沟通,也可以读个brand management 也可以读个光华管理学院的MBA,也可以读top 10的MBA等等,但是不要把MBA作为唯一的途径,或者是逃避和公司内部的沟通,自己缺少自信或者其他决定转入marketing的制约因素的接口。很多跨国公司的marketing director 是从sales Rep做起的。

如果只是为了读书,那也不一定是MBA,

如果只是为了MBA的头衔,那也不一定是高经济成本高时间成本的。

如果只是为了名牌+经历+value的MBA头衔,那你就一心准备考试。

所以,你想清楚你要什么了吗?

楼上赞一个,lz确定自己目标岗位,然后明确目标岗位所需能力,规划下目标期限内所要达到目标能力途径,再check现有资源和环境,找到可行路径,无论mba与否,最终还是需要能力说话,如果现阶段有达到能力途径,未必非要mba不可。
