D的逻辑比较复杂，很难一眼看出来

D的意思是1930年的木工活比较好，这是为什么这些1930年前的hotel能继续使用的原因。如果这些hotel按照现在的木工质量，说不定早就不存在了（fall into demolish)

这题以前讨论过很多了，可以搜一下。D选项的意思是只有那些质量好的木工才能保存到现在。所以他看到的只是所有木工中质量最好的部分，那些质量差的木工他没看到。这就说明他看到的30年代的木工质量好不代表那时的所有的木工质量都好。
