以下是引用0198在2008-4-17 12:28:00的发言: sembx说MSF和MBA培养的方向不一样,那我想知道他们的区别在哪?谢谢. MSF is more of a research degree focused completely on finance; while the MBA is more of a general management degree with some focus on finance. The MBA curriculum is more diverse and covers aspects of Operations, Marketing and Organizational Performance that will not be dealt with in the MSF curriculum. Depends on what you want to do for a career. Overall, if you want to do finance for sure then do the MSF. MBA program likely does not afford you enough classwork in finance itself to prepare you enough as the MBA is more of a generalists degree -- that is its intent though. There are too many MBAs these days so the degree has (to some extent) lost its luster. There are a lot of MSF holders too but it's not nearly as common and will stand out better if you're absolutely sure finance is the field of choice for you.
