下面这句话里的credit是指什么，信用证还是欠款？

We paid the invoice at the end of Nov 07, but then, the goods were sent back to China on the 11th Dec 07. Please issue a credit about 774,80 ?

就是说买方付了钱但货被打回去了，买方没收到货，让卖方开个证明。说白了就是让卖方打个欠条。

信用证通常是documentary credit，跟单信用证。
