请教有关GMAT PREP practice 1的一个数学问题~~~~~~~~

以下是GMAT PREP practice 1的一个数学问题，我做错了，但是不知道错在哪里，请高手指路，十分感谢！！！

Alice’s take-home pay last year was the same each month, and she saved the same fraction of her take-home pay each month.  The total amount of money she had saved at the end of the year was 3 times the amount of that portion of her monthly take-home pay that she did not save.  If all the money that she saved last year was from her take-home pay, what fraction of her take-home pay did she save each month?

 

解题思路：

设alice每月的take-home pay为x, 存钱百分比为y, 则有以下等式：

X*Y*12=3*12*X*(1-Y)

得Y = 3/4

 

但是题目的答案是1/5。

 

请问我的解法错在哪里，正确的做法是怎样的？

赫赫 和我当时错的一样 请看以下高人给我的解释吧：

题目说的是The total amount of money that she had saved at the end of the year was 3 times the amount of that portion of her monthly take-home pay that she did not save.

意思是它12个月存钱的总和是它每个月不存的钱的3倍

一个是总和，一个是每月的！

所以应该为 X*Y*12=3*X*(1-Y)
