financial advisory (i.e. transaction advisory, corporate finance, restructuring and ect) and risk advisory (i.e. financial risk, internail audit, information risk and ect)

In US, Business Analyst is the title for entry-level position in management consulting firms including Deloitte, Accenture, Bearingpoint and IBM Globe (reformed big4 ), so are they in Mckinsey , bain or Boston consulting. I don't know much about what it is called in other countries.

Majority of the work Business Analyst do are testing. In the 2nd year you will get more exposure to the actual consulting work. Normally, you will be promoted to Consultant in the 3rd year assuming you don't screw things up.

ba是business advisory service, 四大各个公司叫法不太一样，pwc 叫performance improvement， 安永叫BAS，kpmg似乎没有专门的ba团队，德勤的咨询还没有和审计分开。这些业务类似consulting firm里面的solution，不过不碰it.

risk management 是另外一个部门，和BA不同，但有些有交叉。

四大在BA这块投入并不多，只是一个value-added service,不是主流；

另外，四大通常的业务包括三大块：审计，税务和交易服务（就是尽职调查什么的，服务对象主要是PE）

工作比较稳当，不会fire人

at kpmg, i think what you are referring is called business performance services which is under the risk advisory practice.
for advisory practice, entry levels are called as analysts.
