我觉得这个题主要是难在

这个问题这里了,问题强调的是学生interpreted（转义、转述）教授的话的意思是什么
从学生的话中可以发现学生总体上来讲是不认同教授的话的观点的

professor说了三句话
1.animal 加 communication不等于language
2.Human 加 communication 等于language
3.Human's trait 等于 language
总结教授观点:语言只是相对人类才有的,动物的交流不是语言

学生说的话总体上是否定的教授的话的
前半句（即引用的是教授的话的部分是）先肯定了教授的观点，后半句反对教授观点
所以“The student has interpreted the professor's remarks to mean that ”
说的就是问学生引述教授的观点是来表达什么
（也就是学生总结表达教授的观点）
