126. Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? There is nothing that young people can teach older people. Use specific reasons and examples to support your position.   
  In conventional view, young people should have respect to older people and their relatively more extensive experience. However, this does not indicate that the younger ones have nothing to teach older people, such as their up-to-date knowledge and the creative ideas. Besides, in some situations, younger people can teach old people a lot if they specialize in different fields. 
  Young people often can keep up with the time and stay trendy. As a result, they may possess more fresh technology, skills and knowledge compared to the older people. For example, high school students may can explain the terms " Internet" or "Soho" to their grandparents who are much elder but not trendier. 
  Additionally, young people tend to be more creative than those who older than them. The reasons are that wisdom has little to do with age and younger people may less conservational than older ones who are blocked by their experience. For instance, to sale more products, older people may think about more advertisements in mass media, while the young may come up with another ground-breaking idea of naming the products with a popular star's name. With their unbounded mind, the younger people can surprise yet instruct the older in many ways. 
  Finally, younger people are able to tell the older the expertise in case that they major in distinctive fields. A young doctor, for example, can surely tell an older engineer about a considerable amount of professional knowlege in medical. Even though this is kind of extreme situation, it does demonstrate that older people can learn something from people who are younger.  
  In conclusion, the older people are not neccessarily possess deeper understanding of the knowledge, mind and perceptive, and thus can be teached by the younger.

To argue if classmates play a more important role to children’s success than parents do, I’ll give you an example about my friend first.

 

My friend Max, who was growing with me in our childhood, wins a big success last year. He started a company to help customers find horse. He told me that his company makes at least 800 million RMB profit in last year. Comparing with him, others including me played together in our childhood are still in university now, which is not as successful as he is. But we must notice that his was not belong with his parent after his age of 5, since his father was commit rob and put into prison and his mother was died when he was 4 years old. There is an important person, however, influencing his life most. His classmate, whose English name is John, played with him everyday, giving his special thinking about his life. Because of his influence, he has got a big success now.

 

Referring to this story, we could view that a person would also be successful even though he or she does not have parents. After that, you would ask an important question: is it the same situation to the child living in the generous family? Of course yes. Because children would take few time along with their parents after they go to school. And they stay with their classmates more than with their parents. Even children, who study aboard, in some situations, would take much less time with their parents.

 

Yes, we cannot deny that parents are the first people children meet. However, most children stay more with their classmates and talks more with them. In term of that, I strongly state that classmates are more important to a person’s success than their parents.

 

Consequently, I agree the statement that classmates are the more important influence than their parents are on a child’s success in school.
