None of us have it as for now so don't worry. I got a sense from BW that HBS adcom started sending invites to INdians over the weekend. Maybe we are next. Maybe they know Chinese new year is this week so they want us to have it for the holiday...

By "Chinese national", are you referring to both Chinese in China and in America?

This whole waiting thing is really grueling. Although I was very confident with my profile and believed in my fit with HBS, the long I wait, the more I start to second-guess myself.

Yes, I do mean Chinese in both mainland China and overseas (U.S.); I mean applicants holding chinese passports. I haven't seen any individual in this category report an interview invite...I have the same feeling as yours...but this fact does make me feel a little better.

I think your theory about chinese nationals might be right in the HBS case. I know you have an extremely competitive profile, so no worries!

I start to understand how this application thing is all about luck. No matter how competitve you are, if you hit the wrong year or even the wrong round, you might not get what you deserve.

also, i think I am crazy. Since HBS gives no feedback as to whether your application is received or complete, I can't stop thinking that they lost my application or misplaced it... haha

First of all, congrats on your Wharton invite!  I am so flattered by your compliment.  I would modestly and honestly say that my profile is solid but not sure I would call it "extremely competitive".  After seeing all the profiles posted here and on BW, I think mine is prob in the middle bucket. So I do need luck. It all depends on my competition (all the Chinese applicants pool).

I cannot stop thinking that I must have accidentally deleted my invite email...anyway, keep my fingers tightly crossed.  Cannot get damn off work for the new year  - sucks!

well, from BW, two consultants of Mck in HK recieved HBS invites on 25th. and one guy there said the Asian slots for interview is almost filled.
