From my experience and talks with other applicants, Duke's interview questions definitely covers a broader range than most other schools, because it covers a wide range of questions, nothing will be digged too deep. my questions, 1. tell me about yourself 2. walk me through your resume and explain the transition you made and why did you make those decisions 3. what are your strengths and weakness 4. Why fuqua 5. why do you think you are a good fit for fuqu? 6. compare a successful team you were on to a unsucessful team you were on, and what made the difference? 7. tell me your most significant personal or professional failure and what have you learned from it? 8. tell me a difficult situation that you have to convince someone, what made it difficult and how did you convince that person 9. if you just meet someone, what would you do to make them more comfortable? 10. what are the questions you have for me? the interview lasts between 35 to 40 mins, then they leave 20 mins for you to ask questions the students and staff at Duke are very nice and helpful, everybody seems to be very relaxed and down to earth, all of them are very proud of the "team fuqua", this is something you can feel from reading fuqua's website. Hopefully this will help! good luck to everybody! |
