GMAT 760, GPA 2.9, 5年外企。top10有戏么？

GPA好低，不知道该怎么解释，大伙给出个主意吧，好郁闷。

Your profile is so similar to mine (760, 2.9, 5yr we) but I am a designer and software engineer. I only applied to Columbia for the first round, got an interview, did horribly in the interview (the person who interviewed me attended CBS 30 years ago and basically knew nothing about the MBA today...), and got rejected.

In 2nd round, I applied to 3 more top 10 schools. I submitted to Ross last week and got an interview this week. I guess I can't give you creditable advice because I have not been admitted to a top-10 MBA program yet... but I believe there is certainly hope, given that you have decent leadership/entrepreneurship expereince or profeesional accomplishments both inside and outside of work! Don't give up just because of a low GPA... a GMAT of 760 automatically put you in the top 20% GMAT scores in any top 10 school... Well, at least that's what I have been telling myself (so that I won't be too discouraged by a low GPA that automatically put me in the bottom 10% of the GPA range in any top 10).

Yes, our profiles are very alike, I am working in the IT industry too(looking for a change).

770, 2.6, 5 yr WE for me, hopefully I can get a Columbia interview.

In optinal essay, explain why your GPA is low, extracurricular activities, working part-time, difficulty of the courses and etc.
