C　Ｄ　是讨论的焦点，但我觉得要是同位语它也用得不恰当，因为同位语就是补充最接近的名词，如果这样的话修饰ｄｉｓｔａｎｃｅ就显得很怪了

这道ans:C我昨天才test到,

后面its acoustic energy prevented from dissipating by做同位语结构

原意为Sound can travel through water for enormous distances,
prevented from dissipating its acoustic energy by
            boundaries in the ocean created by water layers of different temperatures and densities.

因A选的as a result of 改变句意应使用by才正确所以将原句改写成c选项才可…

C的同位语好像不能这样用，必须是相同的sound …而不是its(sound’s)

c d 好象不对，因为同位语是对前面的现象做的一个名词概括，这里的energy概括什么呢？

E，让人感觉不舒服的是那by,究竟是“通过”还是“被”的意思呢？
