答案是B吧。如果公司对汽车进行了较少的改进，说明公司汽车的寿命长是因为最初的质量好，而不是因为频繁的维修保养导致的。

题目比较的是比例，而不是绝对数量。所以1970年以后的产量如何变化与本题没有关系。

我也以为是A，70年以后造的车的数量没有显著增长，说明现在路上车多不是靠70以后多造来支持的，是因为great durability

答案给的是A。但是题目里讨论的是rate：“half of all automobiles ”，而不是quantity。如果题目给出的证据是现役一个品牌的车的数量多于其他品牌，那么是不恰当的，我理解你的解释比较适合这种情况^^

我觉得A 没有啥不对啊，70年以后造的车，假设每年造100辆，经过30年（算到2000年），共有3000辆，现在在路上的还有1500辆，说明耐久；如果90年以前每年造100辆，90年以后每年造300辆，那么，总共就有5000辆车，现在路上有2500辆，但90年以后的车就有3000辆，说明他的车不耐久，而A 的意思是后一种情况没有发生，说明耐久，不知道这个解释行得通吗？
