写了篇作文,3.4JJ.几天没写了,感觉很不好.发上来算是汇报吧. Nowadays, the ability to cooperate is more important than past? A or DA
With the increasing pace of modern society, people are facing more and more new problems that are not difficult to deal with, and also the fierce pressure in work force people to resort to a radical paradigm different from the past. That is the ability to cooperate. From my point of view, cooperative ability cannot be emphasized too much today, and it is much more important for us than in the past.
As we all notice that this is a new era of knowledge explosion, and nobody can master knowledge in many different fields as in the past. So if we want to cope with some problem successfully, we need to cooperate with other people. For example, if one researcher want to conduct a research program on the interaction between grasshopper and a kind of host plant. He/she may probably need to study the fundamentals in these different fields, but it is not so possible for him/her to master all the operation of all the equipment, or the lab he/she is in may not have equipment both for insect study and plant study simultaneously. Then how to carry it on? The best way is to cooperate with some other people or some other lab, and share the knowledge or equipment. And even in one field, there are so many subspecific directions that people may need to cooperate with others to finish one task.
Another trend is that we are facing more and more disastrous problems that are global challenging, such as environmental pollution, or sustainable development. Each of these issues can not be tackled by any one person, or even one nation. It claims the cooperation between people from different spheres, like scientists, police makers, and stakeholders; also countries from all over the world need to unite together to create a better place for us and the future generations. For instance, when dealing with sustainable development, both developed countries and developing countries should contribute their efforts. No nation alone can achieve this kind of work without cooperation.
Well, in the past, one person or one country could develop comparatively well independently, due to the weak connectedness all over the world. One person could lead a happy life on the products he produced himself, and there were not so many different technologies to learn. Many people mastered many skills, even professionally in that period of time, Da Vin Qi was a good example. While for a country, it was not very imperative to cooperate with other ones, they could satisfy the development and deal with the problems it confronted, which is quite different from today.
To conclude, I believe that the ability to cooperate is much more important in today than in the past. For both for an individual or a country, cooperation has become the prerequisite for the development.
