Accounting Journals to read

I talked to my master coordinator about my intention of applying for PHD.(Actually I just want him to do a recommednation letter). Unexpectly, he recommend six journals and ask me to read them in the library first and then discuss with him about my interest............

OMG, I don't have so much time reading these ACADEMIC journal this semester!!!!!!   Which journals do you think I should read . Or, should I really read these journals?

these journals include:

Journal of Accounting Literature

Accounting Review

Journal of Information System

Behavioral Research of Accounting

Auditing: a Journal of practice and theory

Journal of Accounting Information System

Accounting Organization and Society

He may just want you to get some idea what is accounting research like.

ye, but i doubt whether it is necessary, cause I don't understand those articles

You don't need to look at the methedology, just read intro, literature review and hypothesis, so you can get something to talk with that professor next time when you meet.
