题目 Which is more important: spending your time working at your job or spending time with your family.
Views differ when it comes to the issue that job and family, which one is more important that the other? Some argue that job is the most important thing, because if he has no job, then he can’t earn money to sustain the family. On the contrary, some contend that people should give the priority to their family, because family is the most valuable assets in one’s life.
In my opinion, the issue depends on what stage the person is in. If the person is young and start to work, then I agree with the statement that job is the most vital thing. This is because for a beginner, he must behave well to gain other (such as his boss and clients) people’s attention. In addition, only by completely focusing on his/she work, then he can have more chance to succeed in the society.
However, if the person is at middle age, I will claim that he should deem his/her family the most important thing. My reason is for a middle-aged adult, he may already develops his/her career or has a stable work to earn money. In other words, the person already has constructed his/her economic foundation. In this situation, he doesn’t need to put that much efforts like a young person. Therefore, he can spare more time to take good care of his/her family.
Moreover, I am convinced that it is our family, not our work, companies us livelong. Thus, we should keep some time for them to compensate our absence in their lives, and I think the most suitable time is when a person already posses a stable economic foundation.  |
