答案为D, 但我觉得“as the corporation’s unbroken six-year record of growth will show”这句话好像不能infer 出“steadily”吧？

那么很多事情可以不被认为是amercian tradition的，
举个例子，这个人看上去象白人，你能推出他就是白人吗
实际上他可能是一个黑人，只是涂了很多粉
同上，那个chairman可能只是还没有被查出来罢了，文中不能推出他是innocent
而且这个美国传统，这个修饰词很值得重视，里面也会有问题
