My bank charged me a lot of money for an what they call dishonest check that, although I tried to remind myself  to transfer money from saving account to checking account, I still forgot to do so, I signed the other day to my landlady who went to her bank right away to deposit her money. I am trying to figure out who is responsible for the consequence, me, my landlady, my bank, her bank, GMAT or ETS?

Yes, I do. That is why I forgot. I just rely it too much. I didn't forget to pay bills. The problem is that I wrote a check but there was not enough money in my checking account. It's OK. I have empty my saving acount so that there is always enough money available in checking acount.
